NDT engineers are certified in compliance with the local safety and technical standards as well as with SNT-TC-1А (2016); ASME Boiler & pressure vessel code part V, VIII; API 7.1; DS-1 .

Laboratory is equipped with the newest equipment and tools ensuring high-standard NDT.

NDT LABORATORY

The laboratory provides non-destructive testing of drilling equipment parts and units during both manufacturing and maintenance.

NDT METHODS

Acoustic method (ultra-sonic testing and thickness-measurement)

Ultra-sonic inspection reveals metal solidity defects as well as various defects within the wall thickness and at its outer and inner surface.

Visual method

Visual method detects product shape defects as well as surface finishing and raw material defects.

Magnetic

Magnetic-powder control detects surface and under-surface metal solidity defects: various cracks (milling, forging, fatigue etc.), tears, exfoliations, appeared both at the new products and during products use.

Penetration method (capillar)

Capillary method allows to detect surface solidity defects: cracks, pores, slag inclusions, intergranular corrosion etc. as well as their location, spread and distribution, appeared both during products use and at the new products of any geometry.
